Since the year 2000, our family breeds Arabian Horses. From the beginning, we preferred the straight egyptian/asil Arabians. Their pedigrees, desert breed, can be traced back consistently to the bloodlines of the beduines of the arabian peninsular.
Our love for Arabian Horses started in Naples/Italy. We visited a big Arabian Stud farm where a five month old, chestnut filly started calling me, as soon as she could here my voice. She catched me immediatly with her affection and her expressive big eyes, her blond mane and fascinating flying movements.
Of course, it had to be a horse for riding as well and since she was too young, a wonderful dark-grey gelding, son of famous italian champions found a new home with us.
Back at home, the faszination of the Arabian Horse instantly took hold of the entire family. A small hobby-breeding started and soon needed more space. So we moved from the city of Wiesbaden out into the countryside of the Vogelsberg.
You find our farm at the south side of the Vogelsberg, 650 above sea level, with a beautiful view over the placid mountainous landscape, in a natural reserve, surrounded by 20 hectares of green, more than enough place for now 25 horses.
Our horses trace back to famous Straight Egyptians like Hadban Enzahi, Madkour I out of the Ghazal daughter Moheba II, Mahomed out of Malikah, Messaoud, Nadia sired of Nazeer out of the dam Nefisa, Jamil, Hanan, Ansata Halim Shah. We are most interessted in the El Dahma line of Farida and the Sabah line. The Farida line as well as the Sabah line, crossed with Mansour and Nazeer, brought forth some of the most beautiful and representative Arabians of the era, perfectly balanced with good legs, magnificent heads, and brilliant action (refer to Forbis: Authentic Arabian Bloodstock, page 156).
You reach us easily: From Frankfurt International Airport (FRA), it's only approx. 40 min. by car, following the motorway A 66 direction Fulda.
